Job summary

Savvas Learning Company is seeking a Per Diem Educational Consultant for 9-12 Math to support districts and schools onsite with core content, intervention and professional development. This resource assists with Change of Practice and job-embedded services, offering individual and group support to implement Savvas products and research-based methodologies for school turnaround.

Desired applicants have 5+ years of successful teaching in a 9-12 setting; preference for evidence of Savvas product

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful teaching experience in 9-12 Math.
• Experience offering workshops or coaching to teachers.
• Knowledge of standards-based reform, curriculum, and assessment.
• Ability to plan strategically with school leaders and teachers.
• Strong presentation and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement program components and differentiate instruction in the Savvas program.
• Provide job-embedded coaching and modeling for teachers.
• Observe classes, give actionable feedback, and support implementation.
• Use data dashboards to guide instructional decisions.
• Offer onsite technical support and coordinate with district leaders.
