Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelors Degree in Education or related field.
• Possess a valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license.
• Commitment to equity and dismantling inequities in the community.
• Live and work with a Colorado home address while employed.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students to encourage and support achievement.
• Monitor and enforce conduct and reinforce positive behavior per policy.
• Observe, evaluate, and record student performance and behavior.
• Prepare curriculum outlines and materials per guidelines.
• Set clear lesson objectives and communicate them to students.
• Present subject matter using varied teaching methods and technology.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using multiple methods.
• Prepare, administer, and grade tests; report grades in district software.
• Prepare attendance and activity reports as required.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and staff to resolve issues.
