The Roger Bacon Academy in North Carolina has an immediate opening for an 8th grade Math/History Teacher. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a valid teaching certificate from North Carolina or a partnering state.

Our school uses Direct Instruction with strong support from Beginning Teacher Coordinator and Academic Coaches to provide ongoing training and growth opportunities for teachers and students alike.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in education with a valid teaching certificate from North Carolina or partnering state.
• Experience teaching a diverse group of learners is preferred.
• Coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis, Probability and Statistics, and Algebra is desirable.
