Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certificate for middle school grades 6-8 or equivalent.
• Criminal background check required.
• Meet qualifications per WV Code §18A-3-2a.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction that aligns with learning objectives and standards.
• Plan and implement adopted and supplemental academic programs.
• Utilize 21st Century technology skills in instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff and others.
• Lead or assist with designated school activities and events.
• Maintain classroom control and a conducive learning environment.
• Monitor student achievement and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal.
