Job summary

OHDELA is seeking online teachers to serve as the teacher of record across core content areas. The role requires delivering engaging live lessons via web conferences, setting up courses in the LMS, and tracking student progress with daily feedback.

Occasional travel for in-person events and testing is required. Applicants should hold an Ohio teaching license, be familiar with State Standards, and demonstrate strong communication.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years’ experience teaching.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Able to pass federal and state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as teacher of record and primary instructor in core subjects.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student needs.
• Complete course setup in the LMS.
• Monitor student progress and provide daily feedback.
• Communicate with families regarding student growth.
• Travel several times per year for in-person events and testing.
