Job summary

Rocky Mountain Prep in Denver, Colorado is seeking an on-site ELA Teacher to join our college-preparatory network. You will deliver engaging English language arts instruction, align with Common Core standards, and partner with families to support student growth and achievement.

This full-time role includes a salary range of $63,000–$89,000, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for coaching and career pathways within a PEAK-valued, equity-centered school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (any subject).
• Within the first year of employment, complete CDE READ Act training or CDE CLD -45 contact hours.
• Pass a background check.
• Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
• We use E-Verify to confirm identity and employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Read and fall in love with unit texts to engage students with the material.
• Write grade-level exemplars of writing tasks and provide batch feedback.
• Be a scholar of the Common Core Standards to define rigor.
• Be a scholar of the Science of Reading to improve literacy instruction.
• Champion the Accelerated Reading Goal of 2 million words with progress monitoring.
• Support the Reading Academy program and student growth in reading.
