Job summary

Gallup-Mckinley County Schools is seeking an Athletic Coach for 7th Grade Boys Basketball at Ramah High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The position reports to the athletic director and principals, with on-site attendance mandatory and evening/weekend commitments as needed.

Qualifications

• Athletic coaching credentials (Athletic Coaching License, 7-12) or ability to obtain.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and conditioning for 7th grade boys basketball.
• Supervise and coordinate a staff of coaches; work with athletic director and principals.
• Instruct and model behaviors promoting character, self-discipline, and pride of accomplishment in student athletes.
• Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
