Job summary

Ann Arbor Public Schools in Michigan seeks a 7th/8th Girls Soccer Coach for Clague Middle School for the 2025/2026 school year. This is a non-contractual, hourly position reporting to the Athletic Director.

The role requires a high school diploma and coaching experience, with CPR/First Aid certification as applicable. The coach will emphasize skill development, sportsmanship, and collaboration with staff and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of high school coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable about the rules and fundamental techniques required of the sport.
• Ability to obtain current CPR / First Aid/ Lifeguard Certification when applicable.
• Ability to work effectively with sport coaching staff parents and school staff.
• Minimum of 2 years coaching preferred.

• Demonstrates effective management of pre-contest details.
• Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position reports directly to the Athletic Director.

NON-CONTRACTUAL (HOURLY)

STAFF HIRED WILL BECOME AN EMPLOYEE OF PCMI (THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR).

CURRENT CONTRACT STAFF WILL REMAIN ON PAYROLL WITH AAPS.
