Job summary

Southeast Health in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Services unit (2 East, 3 East, 4 East, 5 East, 6 East, 7 East). You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adults and geriatrics, and actively support the hospital’s mission and values.

The position is night shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with a 0.9 FTE schedule. The role requires an active RN license in the state, English proficiency, BLS, and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• BLS course completed; institutional Intermediate EKG Course completed; ACLS course preferred; competency requirements completed.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care provided to adult and geriatric Medical/Surgical patients in the unit.
• Actively support the mission, vision, and values of the hospital and department.
