Job summary

Southeast Health in Dothan, AL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Services to provide patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the 2 East–7 East units.

You will join a team focused on delivering compassionate care to adults and seniors, working night shifts 7:00 pm–7:00 am, at 0.9 FTE, with opportunities to utilize BLS/ACLS credentials and advance your skills.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state (Alabama)
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course preferred

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult and geriatric Medical/Surgical patients.
• Provide direct patient care in the Medical/Surgical Unit (e.g., 2 East–7 East).
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patient needs and ensure quality outcomes.
• Comply with hospital policies and procedures and uphold mission and values.
