Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a dedicated driver to transport school-aged children, ensuring safety and compliance with all laws. You will operate various vehicles and assist students with seating, while maintaining clear communication with students, parents, schools, and staff.

This role involves daily on-the-road duties with a focus on safety and reliability. The position offers both full-time and part-time hours, with a pay rate of $20.00–$21.00 per hour and a schedule Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• A School pupil transport license (7D Certificate) preferred.
• Age 21+ and have had a driver’s license for 3+ consecutive years.
• Satisfactory Driving Record (no suspension).
• Ability to pass a background check, CORI & SORI.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a motor vehicle to transport school-aged children.
• Safely operate a variety of vehicles (sedans, mini-vans, wheelchair vans).
• Assist students entering/exiting vehicles and secure them with seat belts or car seats/booster seats.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and company personnel.

• . Safely assist students as needed. This includes helping them enter and exit the vehicle, using the vehicle's lap and shoulder belts, and safely securing them in car seats and booster seats.
