Boys & Girls Club of Worcester, Inc. is seeking reliable individuals to train as 7D School Van Drivers in Worcester, MA.

The role is part-time, with a 10-hour weekly schedule from 1:30–4:00 pm during the school year, with possible additional hours during school breaks and summer. Responsibilities include safely transporting members after school, ensuring seat belt safety, coordinating routes with a supervisor, and completing daily paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid MA driver's license with a three year clean driving record.
• Experience transporting children ages 5–13 preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle records check.
• Familiar with child safety requirements and proper use of safety belts.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport Club members after school between centers, schools or community locations after school in Worcester.
• Ensure passengers are secured safely in the vehicle following child safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervisor regarding daily schedule and routes.
• Ensure timely pick-ups and drops offs.
• Maintain a clean and organized van and report any maintenance needs immediately.
• Complete all required paperwork daily.
• Participate in state or Club required trainings on at least an annual basis.

Part-time 7D School Van Drivers - WILL TRAIN

LOCATION: School Age Childcare Program

REPORTS TO: Director of School Age Childcare

HOURS OF WORK: Part-time; 10 hours per week (1:30-4pm) during school year. Hours may be available during school vacation weeks and summer.

We are seeking reliable and responsible people who are willing to train to be 7D Van Drivers and join our team. The ideal candidates will be committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our Club members while providing a positive transportation experience.

We recognize thirteen holidays annually and our centers are closed. Additionally, if the holiday falls on a weekend day, we will be closed the Friday or Monday closest to the holiday.

• Prior experience transporting children, ages 5 - 13 (preferred).
