Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking drivers to safely transport school-aged children on a route-based schedule.

You will operate vans, assist students, and ensure proper seating and safety protocols while communicating with parents and staff. Qualifications include a 7D pupil transport certificate (preferred), a 21+ age requirement with 3+ years of licensed driving, and the ability to pass CORI & SORI background checks.

Qualifications

• Safe driving skills required for transporting pupils.
• Strong communication with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to pass background/screening checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a motor vehicle for transporting school-aged children in accordance with traffic laws.
• Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, mini-vans and wheelchair vans.
• Assist students entering/exiting, use seat belts, and secure seating as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and company teams.

Job description

• . Safely operate a motor vehicle, in accordance with all state and federal traffic laws, while driving school-aged children.
• . Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, mini-vans and wheelchair vans.
• . Safely assist students as needed. This includes helping them enter and exit the vehicle, using the vehicle's lap and shoulder belts, and safely securing them in car seats and booster seats.
• . Communicate effectively with students, parents, school and company staffs.

REQUIREMENTS

• . A School pupil transport license (7D Certificate) preferred. Easy to get and we will help you get it.
• . Age 21+ & have had a driver's license for 3+ consecutive years.
• . Satisfactory Driving Record (no suspension).
• . Ability to pass a background check, CORI & SORI.

. No commute as the van goes home with you!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
