Job summary

X-FIVE TRANSPORTATION is seeking drivers to safely transport school-aged children on the road. You will operate a range of vehicles, assist students with boarding and proper seat belt use, and maintain clear communications with families and school staff.

Candidates should have a clean driving record, be 21 or older with at least 3 years of licensed driving, and be able to pass CORI & SORI background checks. Training to obtain a 7D license will be provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Driver must maintain a safe driving record and comply with state laws.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, school and company staff.
• Age 21+ and have held a driver's license for 3+ consecutive years.
• Background check (CORI & SORI) required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a motor vehicle transporting school-aged children.
• Safely operate sedans, mini-vans and wheelchair vans.
• Assist students entering/exiting and secure them with seat belts/booster seats.
• Communicate with students, parents, school and company staff.

• . Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, mini-vans and wheelchair vans.
• . Safely assist students as needed. This includes helping them enter and exit the vehicle, using the vehicle's lap and shoulder belts, and safely securing them in car seats and booster seats.
• . Communicate effectively with students, parents, school and company staffs.

REQUIREMENTS

• . A School pupil transport license (7D Certificate) preferred. Easy to get and we will help you get it.
• . Age 21+ & have had a driver's license for 3+ consecutive years.
• . Satisfactory Driving Record (no suspension).
• . Ability to pass a background check, CORI & SORI.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
