Job summary

Skyline Education AZ Compass is seeking a motivated 7th and 8th Grade Science Teacher to design and deliver high quality instruction in a classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth. The ideal candidate builds strong relationships with students and supports them in developing the skills, knowledge, and habits needed for long term success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent
• Arizona teaching certification preferred
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required or in process

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction for 7th and 8th grade science
• Use assessments to monitor student progress and provide feedback
• Implement curriculum with fidelity and differentiate as needed
• Communicate with parents/guardians and colleagues
• Maintain records and complete required reports
• Collaborate with school staff to support student achievement
• Model positive habits and classroom management
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
