Skyline Education AZ Compass is seeking a motivated 7th and 8th Grade Science Teacher to design and deliver high quality instruction in a classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent
• Arizona teaching certification preferred
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required or in process

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction for 7th and 8th grade science
• Use assessments to monitor student progress and provide feedback
• Implement curriculum with fidelity and differentiate as needed
• Communicate with parents/guardians and colleagues
• Maintain records and complete required reports
• Collaborate with school staff to support student achievement
• Model positive habits and classroom management
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective, standards aligned instruction for assigned students
• Use research based assessments to monitor progress
• Provide timely feedback and reteach as needed to ensure mastery
• Implement the approved curriculum with fidelity
• Differentiate instruction and apply required modifications in student education plans
• Communicate clearly and consistently with parents, guardians, and colleagues
• Collaborate with school staff to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate records and complete required reports and administrative tasks
• Use proactive classroom management strategies
• Model strong character and support students in developing positive academic and personal habits
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal or School Leader
