Job description

Due to professional advancement, Hershey Public Schools is seeking a strong and student-centered leader to serve as our 7–12 Principal.

Our community strongly supports our school, as demonstrated by the recent passage of our bond issue. This investment has provided updated, high-quality facilities, including a new Activity Center addition, that enhances learning, activities, and opportunities for students. Our next principal will have the opportunity to lead in a district that is growing, improving, and moving forward.

Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a Nebraska Administrative Certificate with the appropriate endorsement. Secondary leadership experience is preferred.

Additional Information

Hershey Public Schools will offer the 7–12 Principal a highly competitive starting salary based on experience and qualifications. This is a 200-day contract beginning on or around July 15 and continuing through May 31 each year. The position includes a comprehensive benefits and leave package including full family health and dental insurance coverage and participation in the Nebraska Public Employees Retirement System (NPERS).
