Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in education with a valid teaching certificate in North Carolina.
• Must meet state requirements for teaching in the NC public school system.

• Follow all rules, policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations pertaining to school issues.
• Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students.
• Guide learning toward curriculum goals and establish clear lesson objectives.
• Employ instructional methods and materials to meet stated objectives.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide progress reports as required.
• Counsel with colleagues, students, and/or parents regularly.
• Assist administration in implementing policies and maintain classroom discipline fairly.
• Plan and supervise assignments for teacher assistants and evaluate their performance.
• Maintain professional competence and participate in school-wide development and vision.
• Attend staff meetings and carry out non-instructional duties as assigned.
