Qualifications

• Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Ability to thrive in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Experience supervising students in diverse school settings (playground, cafeteria, etc.).
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Experience working in an urban environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with modification as needed.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior and create a positive classroom environment.
• Incorporate school-approved curricula reflecting diverse backgrounds.
• Implement school-wide culture expectations and norms.
• Communicate with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
