Vulcan Metals Corporation seeks an experienced Pipe Welder to weld and fit pipe and flanges on specified castings according to drawings, specs, and work instructions. You will perform welds using GMAW/SMAW/GTAW/SAW and participate in production upgrade welding tasks as directed by supervision.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years welding/fabrication with steel and stainless steel, and relevant certifications such as ASME IX and AWS D1.x.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years proven welding and fabrication experience in steel and stainless steel.
• Certifications desired: ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1/D1.4 for steel, AWS D1.6 for Stainless Steel, FCAW, MIG, and TIG.
• Ability to weld steel & stainless pipe in 6G position with open root groove.

Responsabilidades

• Weld and fit pipe and flanges on castings per drawings and work instructions.
• Use Weld Procedure Specifications and fabrication documents to produce quality welds and fabrications.
• Perform production upgrade welding tasks as assigned by supervisor.
