Job summary

Vulcan Metals Corporation in Tacoma, WA is seeking a skilled Pipe Welder with at least 4 years of welding and fabrication experience in steel and stainless steel using GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, and SAW. The role requires 6G pipe welding, ability to read WPS, and performing fit-up, welding per drawings and specs.

You will work 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, with benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and training reimbursement. Pre-hire tests will apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years proven welding/fabrication experience with steel and stainless.
• Weld in 6G position with open root groove on pipe.
• Ability to read Welding Procedure Specifications and fabrication documents.
• Able to work under supervision or independently in a team.

Responsibilities

• Performing Fit up & Fabrication of Pipe and flanges on specified castings per customer requirements.
• Use Weld Procedure Specifications and Fabrication documents to produce quality welds & fabrications.
• Upgrade Welding tasks as assigned by supervisor.
