Job summary

Design Solutions & Integration is seeking a skilled Single Hand Welder with expertise in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). The role requires passing a 6G welding test and welding pipes in all positions with a focus on quality and structural integrity.

Must have at least 3 years of welding experience, be proficient in SMAW, and able to read blueprints and welding symbols. Certification testing, physical ability to lift heavy materials, and readiness to work in varying weather conditions are

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of welding experience (pipe welding preferred).
Proficiency in SMAW and capable of passing a 6G test.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
Willingness to test for welding certifications as required.

Responsibilities

Perform SMAW welding on carbon pipes in the 6G position.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures.
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and company policies.
Inspect and test welds to maintain quality control.
Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and effectively.
Work in environments including cold weather, confined spaces or elevated positions.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
