Job summary

Design Solutions & Integration in Stanley, ND is seeking a skilled Single Hand Welder to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will perform SMAW welding on carbon pipes in various positions and must pass a 6G welding test to ensure structural integrity.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, interpreting welding symbols, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Proficiency in stick welding is required, with GTAW/GMAW as a plus, and the ability to work in challenging conditions.

Qualifications

• Must pass a 6G SMAW welding test prior to employment.
• Minimum 3 years of welding experience, pipe welding preferred.
• Proficient in stick welding (SMAW); TGAW a plus.
• Able to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Willing to test for required welding certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform SMAW welding on carbon pipes in all positions, 6G.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and procedures.
• Ensure safety standards and quality control in welds.
• Inspect and test welds; operate welding and cutting equipment.
• Work in varied environments including cold weather or confined spaces.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects.
