Job summary

Allison is seeking a Combo Welder to join the fabrication shop in Amelia, LA. The candidate will perform structural and pipe welding, including TIG and flux-core arc welding, reporting to the Welder Foreman. 3+ years of experience required with emphasis on safe work habits.

Responsibilities include layout, setup, and fitting of parts, working in a team, and adherence to safety/HSE processes. Full benefits and a solid work schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Structural Welder and Pipe Welder.
• Prior Structural Fabrication experience required.
• Experience using safe work habits.

Responsibilities

• A member of the construction team reporting to Allison Welder Foreman.
• Welds components in flat, vertical and overhead positions.
• TIG weld also/or welds Flux Core Arc Welding.
• Sets up and operates hand and power tools common to welding trade.
• Lay out, position, align and secure parts for welding.
• Participate in JSA’s and all other Safety, Health and Environmental Processes.
• Conduct behavioral based safety observations.
