Morningside Elite Management is hiring a part-time caregiver to support residents with daily living activities in a memory care and assisted living setting. You will work to preserve dignity and independence, under supervision from Health & Wellness staff.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to policies, and participation in training to ensure resident safety and well-being. We offer competitive pay and a wide range of employee benefits.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required; CNA/CHHA licensure preferred.
• Experience in caregiving or home health care is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders and escort services as needed.
• Offer emotional and social support; document daily logs of assistance.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor with residents and staff.
• Participate in required trainings and ensure a safe working environment.

Caregiver - Position Summary:

Provides assistance to residents with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity. This position reports to the Health & Wellness Director.

Caregiver - Essential Functions:

• Provides assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.

• Follows the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.

• Provides emotional and social support to residents.

• Documents daily log of assistance.

• Informs supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.

• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.

• Caregiver respects residents’ confidentiality.

• Is familiar with emergency equipment and procedures.

• Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.

• Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.

• Caregiver maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.

• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Caregiver - Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• May require a CNA or CHHA licensure
