Job summary

Inteplast Group in Pittsburg, KS seeks a Boxmaker C to efficiently produce high-quality boxes, maintain safety, and support teamwork and continuous improvement on the production line.

The role requires basic math, machine knowledge, and the ability to train others, with a daytime shift 8am–4pm and a $1 premium for perfect attendance. Excellent benefits including paid holidays and on-site clinic are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal eligibility to work in the US required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses.
• Must know equipment, policies and procedures for safe operations.
• Basic arithmetic skills (multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, measurements).
• Must be able to maintain consistent attendance and work non-standard hours as needed.
• Capable of handling job-related stress and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Make proper check procedures to ensure high quality boxes.
• Continually inspect boxes for defects and/or poor gluing.
• Maintain correct adjustments on machines – speed, size changes, etc.
• Train other employees to operate and maintain machines properly.
• Ensure boxes are placed in proper holding area.
• Diagnose and solve problems quickly.
• Ability to produce 3500 boxes during assigned shift.
• Make box size changes accurately within 15 minutes.
• Record accurate transactions in production operating system.
• Move boxes between locations and assign to proper jobs.
• Maintain accurate box inventory.
• Keep the area neat and clean.
• Inform maintenance when equipment problems occur.
• Maintain and follow all safety rules.

TITLE: BOXMAKER C

Starting at $15.00 per hr. – 8am to 4pm shift available with $1.00 more per hour with weekly perfect attendance.

• An environment that is extremely hot, humid in the summer months, and cold in the winter months.
