Colonial Group in Pittsburg, KS is seeking a BOXMAKER C to efficiently produce high-quality boxes on a fast-paced production line. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with a $1.00 per hour raise for perfect attendance, plus excellent benefits. The 8am–4pm shift offers on-site health services and on-the-job training to support a steady, dependable work schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Make proper check procedures to ensure high quality boxes.
• Continually inspect boxes for defects and/or poor gluing.
• Maintain correct machine adjustments (speed, size changes).
• Train other employees to operate and maintain machines.
• Ensure boxes are placed in proper holding area.
• Diagnose and solve problems quickly.
• Produce up to 3,500 boxes during shift.
• Make box size changes accurately within 15 minutes.
• Record production in the operating system.
• Move and issue boxes to appropriate jobs.
• Maintain accurate box inventory.
• Keep area neat and clean.
• Inform maintenance when problems occur and follow safety rules.

TITLE: BOXMAKER C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Efficiently and effectively produce high-quality boxes while ensuring safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in the production process.

Starting at $15.00 per hr. – 8am to 4pm shift available with $1.00 more per hour with weekly perfect attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent

• Legal eligibility to work in the US.
• Required basic math skills

• Must have basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses.
• Must have knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safe operations.
• Must have basic arithmetic skills such as multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, and measurements.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make proper check procedures to ensure high quality boxes.
• Continually inspect boxes for defects and/or poor gluing.
• Maintain correct adjustments on machines – speed, size changes, etc.
• Ability to train other employees to operate and maintain machines properly.
• Ensure boxes are placed in proper holding area.
• Diagnose and solve problems quickly.
• Ability to make 3500 boxes during assigned shift.
• Ability to make box size changes correctly and accurately within a 15-minute time frame.
• Requires the ability to make accurate transactions in production operating system.
• Moving boxes from locations and issuing to appropriate jobs.
• Maintain accurate box inventory.
• Keep the area neat and clean.
• Inform maintenance when equipment problems occur.
• Maintain and follow all safety rules.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• An environment that is extremely hot, humid in the summer months, and cold in the winter months.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Ability to quickly move your hand, your hands together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, lift, manipulate or assemble objects. (many duties require hand over hand movement) (frequently)
