Braun Intertec is seeking students pursuing degrees in engineering, construction management, or related field for a 6-month Co-op in Lenexa, KS. Co-ops receive in-depth technical training and industry certifications upon successful completion of exams and demonstrations of ability.

The role involves performing a variety of testing on construction materials with onsite testing on commercial and transportation projects, under guidance of project managers and technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Commitment for 6 months, mid-May to December, with full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform materials testing on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
• Work with project managers and technicians to ensure specifications are followed.
• Gain field experience and participate in safety and certification trainings.
