Job summary

Teaching Lab seeks a Facilitator/Coach to design and deliver professional learning for 6-8 math educators, emphasizing high-quality instruction and equitable practice. Experience with Illustrative Math and Minnesota standards is essential.

The contractor role is project-based, on-site in Minneapolis with some remote work. Compensation is day-rate based, including preparation, delivery, and follow-up activities.

Qualifications

• Deep experience coaching educators in grades 6-8 math.
• Experience teaching or coaching Illustrative Math curricula.
• Experience implementing Minnesota K-12 Academic Standards.
• Minimum two years as instructional coach with impact on student learning.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering professional development sessions with feedback loops.
• Providing tailored 1:1 coaching and group learning for educators (in-person and virtual).
• Building collaborative relationships to strengthen instructional capacity.
• Supporting data collection, reporting, and reflection to measure impact.
