Job summary

Road One Mobile Inc is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Ontario, CA team. Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered trucks and heavy-duty vehicles, using diagnostic tools and adhering to safety standards.

With 5+ years of hands-on experience and ASE certification preferred, you will work independently to ensure quality workmanship and on-time fleet maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience.
• Proficiency diagnosing and repairing diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR).
• Experience with electronic diagnostic tools such as Nexiq, Jaltest.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety standards.
• ASE certification or equivalent trade school training preferred.
• Must supply own set of professional hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

• Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, electrical, and hydraulic system failures

• Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Complete accurate repair orders and maintenance documentation
• Coordinate with fleet managers to prioritize repairs and minimize vehicle downtime
