Job Titles:

1. Diesel Mechanic: Experienced 5+ years’ experience

Working in fleet maintenance facility, maintaining commercial trucks, trailers and equipment for heavy duty repair facility.

Experience with a variety of engines and transmissions.

Must have your own tools.

Computer literate.

A valid drivers license with reliable transportation.

Ability to Drive a Manual Transmission Vehicle

Welding experience preferred but not required.

AC experience & certificate preferred but not required.

Opacity testing certificate a plus but not required.

Read and write English.

Pay Rate: $ 25 - 50/hr

• Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify mechanical and electronic faults
• Complete accurate repair orders and document all maintenance and service work
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage workload and turnaround times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrain systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams
• Experience with diagnostic tools and software (e.g., Cummins Insite, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link)
• Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
• Must supply own hand tools
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
