Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least two years of full-time experience as a classroom or special education teacher.
• Meet teacher certification requirements set by the Massachusetts DESE, or eligible within a year of hire.
• Belief that all students can and will succeed.
• Desire to continually improve practice by taking and implementing feedback.
• Proven record of student success and achievement.
• Ability to work well on a team and support others.

Responsibilities

• Provide inclusion support and instruction in regular education classes containing IEP students, and, when necessary, teach separate classes.
• Help to manage the school’s Special Education programing including paperwork, testing, and compliance requirements.
• Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations and provide support to reach them.
• Participate in Match’s coaching and professional development programs.
• Assist with school programming during non-instructional time as needed.
• Be a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community.
