Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th Grade Science Teacher to join our Jackrabbit family. This position involves teaching science to 5th-grade students, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student exploration and scientific inquiry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging science lessons aligned with state standards using the SAVVAS curriculum.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.

• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents with supportive data.

• Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate science concepts across the curriculum.

• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

• Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff.

Qualifications
