Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with state and district curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student growth, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning.
- Use assessment data to guide instruction and ensure student progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support student achievement and school goals.
- Maintain classroom organization, manage student behavior, and promote a safe and respectful environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Valid Texas teaching certification for 4th/5th grade ELA and Science or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to high academic standards.
