Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate in English as a Second Language – Required for all Core Subject Teachers.
• CTE Teachers: Endorsements or related training for certification waivers.
• Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Teachers: Early Childhood certificate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans for in-person learning.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials aligned with TEA guidelines.
• Assess student learning styles and plan instructional activities.
• Collaborate with Special Education Teachers for IEP accommodations.
• Coordinate with staff to set goals and supervise aides/volunteers.
