Job summary

Keller ISD is seeking a dedicated core subject teacher to deliver engaging lessons in an on-site setting at our Fort Worth campus. You will develop and implement lesson plans, adapt instruction for diverse learners, and collaborate with Special Education staff to support IEPs.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas teaching certificate with ESL credentials, excellent classroom management, and strong communication with families and colleagues. The role emphasizes student growth and district alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in subject assigned.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate in English as a Second Language – Required for all Core Subject Teachers.
• CTE Teachers: Certificate with endorsements or related training as applicable.
• Prekindergarten/Kindergarten: Early Childhood certificate.
• AED/CPR certificate for Physical Education teachers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans for in-person learning with evidence of preparation.
• Use instructional strategies and materials aligned to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Assess student learning styles and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with Special Education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Plan goals with staff and supervise aides/volunteers; ensure district requirements are met.
• Maintain and file reports and district documentation.
