Job summary

Lansing Community College is seeking a Wireless Security Engineer to analyze the 5G/4G applications and interfaces for security strengths and weaknesses. The SME will apply knowledge of 5G/4G system applications and protocols to identify security features and weaknesses within the wireless system.

As part of the Wireless Security Engineering team, you will work in a fast-paced environment focusing on architecting and managing security risk for 5G critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with three or more years of experience in wireless system security testing and/or development of wireless systems.
• Experience in 4G/5G application and data security.
• Extremely strong application analysis and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the 5G system’s applications and interfaces for security strengths and weaknesses.
• Identify security features of the system and security weaknesses.
• Incorporate 3GPP 5G security standards into analysis and requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to develop security requirements for the 5G wireless system.
