Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to protect digital assets across software, systems, and infrastructure, with emphasis on device security for IoT, CPEs, hotspots, trackers, routers, and modems. You will conduct assessments, reviews and vulnerability testing while collaborating with hardware and software teams.

Responsibilities include developing security measures, defining methodologies, mentoring engineers, and driving strategic initiatives to reduce risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (Required).
• 7+ years related experience in cybersecurity (Required).
• 3-5 years device security assessments on IoT devices, routers, modems (Required).
• 3-5 years using security tools (Ghidra, IDA Pro, Burpsuite, Nmap, hashcat, OllyDbg) (Required).
• 3-5 years experience with 4G LTE/5G, cloud and containerized apps (Required).
• 3-5 years proficiency in Python, C++, C#, PHP, and shell scripting; AI tools familiarity (Preferred).
• 7-10 years security assessments and vulnerability testing (Preferred).
• AI, leadership, collaboration, problem solving, strategic thinking, threat modeling (Required).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end device security assessments across IoT, CPEs, hotspots, trackers, routers, modems.
• Develop proactive device security measures and strategies.
• Collaborate with device engineering teams and OEMs to integrate security into hardware/software development.
• Conduct digital forensics on compromised devices and work with threat response teams.
• Define and evolve device security assessment methodology, standards, and tooling roadmap.
• Mentor junior and mid-level security engineers in device security techniques.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
