Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking an experienced testing engineer to execute integration and validation of Private 5G solutions in a Plano, TX setting. You will build end-to-end test scenarios covering RAN, Core, management platforms, devices and applications, and you will automate repetitive testing and verification tasks.

You will validate latency, throughput, reliability, coverage, scalability, redundancy and failover while troubleshooting complex system-level issues and

• Strong knowledge of 4G/5G fundamentals across RAN and Core.
• Experience with private 5G / enterprise architecture.
• End-to-end integration and system validation experience.
• Proficient in Python/Shell scripting and test automation.

Responsibilities

Job description

Experience with AMF, SMF, UPF, network slicing, DNN/APN, Kubernetes/cloud-native telecom environments is a plus.

What you will do:

• Execute integration and validation of Private 5G solutions
• Build end-to-end test scenarios spanning RAN, Core, management platforms, devices, and applications
• Automate repetitive testing and verification activities
• Validate latency, throughput, reliability, coverage, scalability, redundancy, and failover
• Troubleshoot complex system-level integration issues
• Support deployments, upgrades, migrations, and solution acceptance
• Document test results, technical risks, configurations, and recommendations
• Collaborate with architects, development, security, field engineering, and customer-facing teams

What we're looking for:

• Strong 4G/5G fundamentals across RAN, Core, radio concepts, latency, throughput, and QoS
• Understanding of Private 5G / Enterprise 5G architecture
• End-to-end integration and system validation experience
• Strong Python/Shell scripting and test automation experience
• Experience developing and executing automated test suites and working with CI pipelines
• Integration, regression, performance, scalability, failover, and reliability testing
• Ability to troubleshoot using logs, alarms, network data, and diagnostic tools
• Understanding of APN/DNN, segmentation, device onboarding, mobility, QoS, and security
• Experience working across RAN, Core, Cloud, enterprise LAN/DC, and IT/OT integrations
• Exposure to industrial/IoT environments such as manufacturing, logistics, mining, utilities, or airports is highly desirable
