Job summary

SMX Services & Consulting, Inc. is seeking an IT Software Engineer to support software development, API integration, database management, testing and technical requirements activities.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with REST APIs, Microsoft Azure DevOps, SQL, and SDLC, with 2–4 years of professional software/IT experience. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, including offshore teams in India, will be required.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Alternatives: Associate's degree + 6+ years of experience or Master’s degree in related field.
• 2-4 years of professional software/IT experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, testing, and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate software and systems.
• Develop and maintain databases and database management systems.
• Coordinate API testing and integration with external vendors and internal teams.
• Create and maintain technical requirements and user stories in Microsoft DevOps.
• Collaborate with DevOps, onboarding, backend systems, and dealer system portal teams.
• Coordinate with offshore teams and multiple external vendors.
