Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Boise is seeking Back of House Team Members to support opening and lunch shifts (5am-2pm) during the school year. You'll be part of a team that prepares, cooks, and plates food to Chick-fil-A standards, while delivering friendly service.

The role offers both part-time and full-time options with varied pay rates starting at $15/hr and progressing to higher levels as you train. Benefits include a positive work environment, flexible scheduling, growth opportunities, and scholarships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards.
• Be knowledgeable of kitchen station assignments including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and prep.
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times.
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues to Leadership.
• Complete opening or closing tasks and adhere to dress code.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for great team members that are available to work opening-lunch (5am-2pm) shifts during the school year. Must be available at least 3 weekday lunch shifts. Opening starts 5am-6am.

In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Back of House Team Members gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. They are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food.

Part-time team member closing or weekday lunches 3x per week starting at $15/hr with up to $16.50/hr once fully trained. Full-time team member starting at $15.75/hr with up to $17.25/hr once fully trained. $18.90/hr full-time team leader. $17.85/hr part-time team leader. $12/hr non-closing part-time. $9/hr under 16 years old. *MUST BE 16+ YEARS OLD TO WORK IN THE KITCHEN*Pay rate is based upon availability during the school year, not summer months. We do not hire for seasonal work only.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
