Job summary

Leech Lake Gaming is seeking a detail-oriented professional to count and verify casino floor revenue, including slot and blackjack, while maintaining accurate records and staying compliant with internal controls. The role requires basic computer skills, strong math, and the ability to handle sensitive information in a 24/7 environment.

Employees may work various shifts; training and meetings are mandatory. Prior experience is not required, but adherence to tribal/state licensing rules and drug

• Maintain neat, legible records of all soft count activity.
• Keep computer terminal and printer clean and maintained.
• Keep Softcount room clean and organized at all times.
• Operate coin wrapping machines and process vault coin as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of events in the property.
• Attend and/or facilitate mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times and be sensitive to Native American culture.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for daily slot counting and verifying and daily validator drop.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Counts and verifies casino floor revenue including Slot and Blackjack.
• Maintains neat, legible records of all soft count activity.
• Cleans and maintains computer terminal and printer.
• Keeps Softcount room clean and organized at all times.
• Utilizes coin wrapping machines.
• Processes vault coin as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
• Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong math skills
• Familiarity with count equipment
• Ability to understand and explain reports.
• Understanding of internal controls and compliance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physically capable of remaining on feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Education Required: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: No prior experience necessary

Computer Skills: Must have basic computer skills.

Certificates & Licenses: Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.
