Job summary

Leech Lake Gaming is seeking a Slot Revenue Counter to perform daily slot counting and verify revenue, maintain records, and operate soft count equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong math, basic computer skills, and strict adherence to internal controls and regulatory policies. It involves shift work in a 24/7 casino environment with background checks and licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Count and verify casino floor revenue including Slot and Blackjack.
• Maintain neat, legible records of all soft count activity.
• Clean and maintain computer terminal and printer.
• Keep Softcount room clean and organized at all times.
• Utilize coin wrapping machines.
• Process vault coin as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of all events in the property.
• Attend and/or facilitate mandated meetings and training.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Be sensitive to Native American culture.
• Operate within TICs and tribal policies and other regulations.
• Secure the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for daily slot counting and verifying and daily validator drop.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Counts and verifies casino floor revenue including Slot and Blackjack.
• Maintains neat, legible records of all soft count activity.
• Cleans and maintains computer terminal and printer.
• Keeps Softcount room clean and organized at all times.
• Utilizes coin wrapping machines.
• Processes vault coin as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
• Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physically capable of remaining on feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Education Required: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: No prior experience necessary

Computer Skills: Must have basic computer skills.

Certificates & Licenses: Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.
