Job summary

Leech Lake Gaming in Cass Lake, MN seeks a Soft Count Clerk to count and verify daily slot revenue and perform daily validator drop. The role requires strong math skills, familiarity with count equipment, and the ability to explain reports.

This position operates in a 24/7 setting with strict internal controls and confidentiality. Training and opportunities for advancement are available within a respectful tribal gaming environment.

Responsibilities

• Counts and verifies casino floor revenue including Slot and Blackjack.
• Maintains neat, legible records of all soft count activity.
• Cleans and maintains computer terminal and printer.
• Keeps Softcount room clean and organized at all times.
• Utilizes coin wrapping machines.
• Processes vault coin as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
• Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Education Required: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: No prior experience necessary

Computer Skills: Must have basic computer skills.

Certificates & Licenses: Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.
