Qualifikationen

• Proficient in 5-axis machine tool setup and operation; journeyman-level skill set preferred.
• Technical degree/trade school or 5+ years related experience; or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Ability to interpret technical procedures and specifications/regulations.
• Familiarity with DMG MORI, Okuma, Hyundai, Fanuc, and similar platforms.
• Clear communicator capable of presenting information to managers and peers.
• Solid math skills and knowledge of machining processes and tolerances.
• Aerospace experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Set up 5-axis CNC tools with proper tooling and offsets for bearings and aerospace parts.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to manufacture and inspect parts.
• Apply geometric calculations to plan setups and verify results.
• Edit G-code to implement corrections and document changes.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize programs and setups.
• Load/unload heavy parts using overhead cranes with proper rigging.
• Maintain safe, audit-ready work area and report production issues.
