Job summary

Omni Aerospace Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines in a production cell, performing turning, drilling and tapping on complex shaft seal components. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, select tools, and ensure first part approval.

Candidates should have at least two years of 5-axis CNC experience, Siemens 840D familiarity, GD&T expertise, and the ability to work with ERP paperwork in a team-driven environment, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience operating 5 Axis CNC Machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings to determine tolerances.
• Ability to read calipers, mics, and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5 axis CNC machines for turning, drilling and tapping.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to plan operations.
• Monitor first part run and obtain buy-off by inspection.
• Deburr parts and ensure conformance to specs.
• Complete paperwork using ERP system.
