Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience across multiple 5-axis applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate vertical and horizontal 5-axis CNC machining centers to perform surfacing, profiling, boring, facing, threading and other operations.
• Plan machining operations by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, material specs, GD&T.
• Program 5-axis machines using Mastercam.
• Perform machine setups, including tooling, offsets, compensation, and tooling requirement calculations.
• Verify machine setups by checking head clearance, travel, positioning, and first-run parts.
• Monitor machining operations and take precision measurements to maintain specifications.
• Troubleshoot machining processes, analyze root causes, adjust controls and replace worn tooling.
• Document production actions and communicate issues between shifts.
