• Understanding of G-code and the ability to make minor changes on the machine control.
• Conventional machining experience is a plus.
• Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Current or active security clearance is a plus.
• Proficient in math.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understand GD&T.
• Machining training is a plus.
• MasterCam experience is a plus.
• Machine programming is a plus.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English.

• Operate and maintain multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Review drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping using standard tools.
• Set up jobs and select appropriate settings for a given task.
• Read and understand sketches, drawings, and work instructions.
• Follow traveler steps to complete the assignment.
• Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary and verifying results.
• Maintain inventory of completed products.
• Check output for quality assurance and document or discard defects.
• Identify need for and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Work independently as required.
• Safely perform tasks, follow safety practices, and maintain a clean workstation.
• Contribute to team effort by completing related tasks as needed.
