The Palace Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Red Boiling Springs, TN, is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our nursing team. You will lead and support staff, deliver high-quality clinical care, and help ensure excellent outcomes for residents.

We offer weekend and PRN/full-time shifts with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time new hires. Join a facility focused on resident-centered care in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• At least one year of RN experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepares and administers medications and records prescribed treatments; reports adverse reactions.
• Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitors equipment and interprets electronic displays.
• Initiates corrective action for adverse symptoms.
• Provides bedside care for a variety of medical patients.
• Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs.
• Assists physician during examinations and treatments.
• Responds to life-threatening situations per nursing standards.
• Participates in discharge planning.

RN Responsibilities:

  In addition to general nursing care, responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans

  • Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.

  • Records patients medical information and vital signs.

  • Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.

  • Initiates corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology

  • Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.

  • Changes dressings, insert catheters, starts IVs

  • Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment of patient

  • Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol

  • Participates in discharge planning.

  • Utilizes time management skills.

  • Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.

  • Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting

Qualifications:

• Current RN license.

• At least one year of experience as an RN in a long-term care setting is preferred.
