The Palace Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversee nursing staff during weekend operations. You will ensure high-quality resident care, respond to clinical needs, and help maintain our exceptional standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Experience as an RN in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide shift leadership and oversight of nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality resident care.
• Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs with daily assignments and guidance.
• Perform resident assessments and respond to changes in condition or emergencies.
• Ensure physician orders and care plans are carried out accurately.
• Monitor and ensure timely documentation in the medical record.
• Administer medications and treatments as needed per scope of practice.
• Conduct rounds to monitor care delivery and address concerns.
• Serve as clinical resource for staff, residents, and families during the shift.
• Collaborate with physicians and the inter-disciplinary team to support resident outcomes.

RN Supervisor Requirements

• Provide shift leadership and oversight of nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality resident care


• Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs with daily assignments, guidance, and problem-solving


• Perform resident assessments and respond to changes in condition, incidents, or emergencies


• Ensure physician orders, care plans, and treatments are carried out appropriately


• Monitor and ensure accurate, timely documentation in the medical record


• Administer medications and treatments as needed in accordance with the scope of practice


• Conduct rounds on residents and staff to monitor care delivery and address concerns


• Serve as a clinical resource and point of contact for staff, residents, and families during the shift


• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support resident outcomes


• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations


• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed


• Address and help resolve resident, family, or staff concerns in a professional manner


• Step in to provide direct patient care and support the floor as needed

RN Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.


• At least one year of experience as an RN in a Long-Term Care setting is preferred.
